The race is on!!
Good morning people!! It's really sad to get on facebook and hear all my "up north" friends talk about all the snow they're getting! I understand you are all probably sick of it by now as was I when I lived in Cleveland but being in Florida it's really hard to get in the Christmas spirit! I'm getting excited though! I can't wait to see my kids faces when they open their gifts! I also can't wait to have my yearly tender Tennessee Christmas with my family and hopefully a new great niece! But today I begin the craziness! I've got teacher gifts to make! We are doing cookie mis in a jar! The kids seemed to like the idea and I think that's something anyone would like! Who docent like cookies? I'm also preparing for a Christmas dinner I'll be having at my house with a dear friend who will be in from Cleveland! She won't see this this because she has yet to follow my blog (cough cough guilt trip)! I'm going to use my treasured Lenox china for this occasion! I've only used it a handful of times since we were married! The last time I used it the sound of forks and knives scraping on the plates was enough to make my stomach churn! I just knew my prized china was ruined! I felt a little like Monica from Friends during that dinner! Hopefully everything will be fine! We are also letting the kids open Christmas gifts that night! They love an audience to open gifts to! I'm getting really excited for the new year and all it has in store for my family and I! I've already made my new years resolution list! Have you? Have a great holiday everyone! I am so thankful for all of you!!

First Christmas dinner
Hey! I know this blog is supposed to be about my etsy site and all the crafty stuff but I'd like to expand a little! We had our first Christmas dinner/party of the season! For those of you who don't know my husband is a youth pastor at First Assembly of God in Ocala FL and we had our annual staff dinner at Olive Garden! If you know anything about me you know I love OG! So after we got home and got an update from Jack on all the bad things the other kids did I sat down...for the first time today...it's been qa long day! But as I sit here so joyfully I can't help but think how blessed we are! We work at a church where the staff loves to see people grow in Gods grace and where we love the staff! My kids love our pastor and his family so much! And for that I am so grateful! I am also very grateful for this new etsy shop! Who's excited??? I'll be posting pictures on my facebook of some things I'll be offering! Sooooo watch out!
